ZEISS is in its 2nd year of participating hand in hand with The Medical Council of Thailand’s Annual Medical Voluntary Unit. Held on 10-14 May 2017, this event was organized to benefit less fortunate patients and aid them in regaining clear and sharp vision.

Led by Dr. Sumed Sedthapanich and ZEISS Thailand’s Managing Director, Mr. Theeraphong Boonrodchu, ZEISS supported the event with ZEISS equipment and ZEISS IOL lenses. A total of 110 surgery cases using ZEISS CT ASPHINA® were performed by Dr. Sedthapanich in 3 days with 0% complications.

ZEISS Thailand is in close contact with the hospital and medical staff to ensure the aftercare of the patients and their speedy recovery.

"This gives us an opportunity to work together with our customers on their mission and make them successful. It’s an excellent opportunity to network, and most importantly bring vision to those in need." – Mr. Sujay Debnath, Regional Director, Southeast Asia, Medical Technology Business Group
