Biotech industry is increasingly adopting automation for image analysis owing to its benefits in terms of throughput, reproducibility, and ease of use. Automation is often powered by deep learning algorithms, especially to segment complex structures in bioimages.
In this educational webinar, we will introduce the concepts for image segmentation using traditional machine learning and deep learning, respectively. The benefits and limitations of these techniques will be highlighted using appropriate examples. In addition, we will also demonstrate these algorithms in action using the ZEN software and APEER cloud platform, respectively.
