Identify, Access, Prepare and Analyze your Sample with Precise Navigational Guidance

ZEISS Seminar: A Multiscale, Multimodal Correlative Microscopy Workflow for Subsurface Sample Analysis

Location: MR327 (Symposia A11)
Dates: 29 June 2023
Time: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Highlights of this workflow

  • Identify regions of interest in large sample volume using high resolution & non-destructive 3D X-ray Microscope (ZEISS XRM)
  • Access deeply buried region-of-interest with the LaserFIB, a femtosecond (fs) laser integrated on ZEISS Crossbeam FIB-SEM that enables massive material removal rapidly
  • Prepare high-quality surfaces and delicate structures (e.g., TEM lamellar or Atom Probe Tomography samples) for further analysis using the Ion-sculptor Gallium FIB column integrated
    on ZEISS Crossbeam
  • Analyze prepared samples and surfaces and connect to other scales & modalities with ZEISS Correlative software
