Digital Classroom Day

Digital Classroom for Technology-Enhanced Learning in Pathology

Monday, 6th September 2021

2.30 PM - 4 PM

An interactive digital classroom helps produce an engaging atmosphere that motivates life science students to discover their field of study and achieve their learning goals. Enhance your discussions by viewing what each student can see when they see it. Learn how ZEISS can take your classroom microscopes into the digital age.

During these special times, many universities are closed, and students can't use microscopes in university labs to visualize microscope slides and learn about structural details of cells and tissue. However, teaching must go on and demands more flexibility. With Axioscan 7 slide scanner – digitalized your specimen in a reliable and reproducible way to create high-quality virtual microscope slides. You can make your microscopy sample slides digitally available to your students with ZEISS Virtual Slide Box. They can access your slides from home via their browser or app and annotate and work with them as if they were in the lab.

Clinical Routine Day

Digital Pathology with ZEISS Axioscan 7 - Your High-Performance Slide Scanner for Fluorescence, Brightfield and Polarization

Monday, 13th September 2021

2.30 PM - 4 PM

Digitize your specimens with Axioscan 7 – the reliable, reproducible way to create high-quality virtual microscope slides. Axioscan 7 combines qualities that you would not expect to get in a slide scanner: high-speed digitization and outstanding image quality, plus an unrivalled variety of imaging modes, are all available in a fully automated and easy to operate system. Your routine scanning applications are supported by powerful hardware and perfectly featured software. Capture virtual slides quickly with high-speed scanning while retaining consistently high quality, whether you want to capture brightfield, fluorescence or polarized light images.

Access your virtual slides anytime, no matter where you are or what operating system you are using. Share your images online with colleagues and organize entire projects, even when you're on the go, with ZEN Intellesis-machine learning software, segment and analyse your virtual slides accurately with minimal user bias.

Research Day

Transforming Slides to Results with ZEISS Axioscan 7 Slide Scanner for Fluorescence, Brightfield and Polarization

Monday, 20th September 2021

2.30 PM - 4 PM

Experience the evolution in automated whole slide imaging for brightfield, fluorescence, and polarization applications. Achieve faster brightfield scanning with flash mode and outstanding image quality.

The use of multichannel immunofluorescence techniques expands your opportunity for research and discovery, increasing output from precious sample material. Our dynamic slide scanner offers full spectral flexibility pairing the Colibri 7 with discrete single bandpass filters, multi bandpass filters, and fast filter wheels. In addition, self-monitoring in the Colibri 7 ensures precise power output of its ultra-fast switching LEDs for reproducible fluorescence acquisition.

Imaging multiplexed tissue is now faster and gentler than ever with introducing a new patented contrast technique. The Transfer of Intensity Equation, or TIE contrast, offers damage-free, high speed focusing of fluorescence material. As a result, stained, label-free, and low contrast samples are made visible with unsurpassed optical quality. Capture the whole picture, hundreds of slides at a time, without application restrictions.
