With our global headquarters at Oberkochen near the famous industrial town of Stuttgart in Germany, Carl Zeiss AG is an international group of companies in the optical and opto-electronic industry.
Structured as six business units, Carl Zeiss AG is generally ranked first or second in the strategic markets of Medical and Research Solutions, Industrial Solutions and Lifestyle Products. The group offers products and services for biomedical research and medical technology, system solutions for the semiconductor, automotive and mechanical engineering industries, as well as high-quality consumer goods such as camera lenses and binoculars.

Carl Zeiss S.E.Asia
With a view to get closer to our Customers in the South East Asia region, Carl Zeiss started its S.E.Asia organization in 1990 with its Regional Headquarters in Singapore and direct sales and service operations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bangkok, Thailand and representative offices in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, Vietnam.
This is further supplemented by a network of business partners spread across the region, from the most remote parts of Myanmar in the west to the Philippines in the East, with sales and service presence at most major cities of S.E.Asia.
With strong support from our Customers, the Carl Zeiss S.E.Asia company has grown rapidly since it started operations in 1990. Major investments are now being made to revitalise the company and prepare it to better serve Customers in the new millennium.
Our various business units today include Consumer Optics ( Ophthalmic Products and Sport Optics), Industrial Metrology, Medical Systems, Microscopy and Opto-electronics ( Camera Lenses, Optical Systems and Spectral Sensor Systems).
