From Microscopy
An application training and workshop on bioimaging solutions from Carl Zeiss was organized on 28 March 2003 at Century Roxy Park Hotel, Singapore.
Three speakers from Germany were invited to speak at the presentation workshop. They were Dr. Markus Neumann, Product Manager at Carl Zeiss Vision (Cell Observer, Deconvolution, 3D Microscopy), Dr. Hubert Bauch, Product Manager at Carl Zeiss Vision (3D and Live Cell Imaging applications) and Dr. Eugen Wehner, Product Manager at TSE-Systems GmbH (Incubation, Axiovert 25, Micromanipulation).
Topics covered included:
- "Introduction into advanced bioimaging"
- "ApoTome, the new sectioning device"
- "The right climate for live cell imaging"
Four demostration stations were set up with Axiovert 200, Axioplan 2 imaging, Axioskop 2 Plus Mot, AxioCam and Apotome.
