From Microscopy
Carl Zeiss S.E.Asia proudly supported the joint effort between Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) and National University of Singapore (NUS) on the EMBO - Practical Course on Live Speimen and Light Microscopy with three of our equipment; the LSM 510 META, Apotome and Live Cell Imaging.
The course was held at both IMCB and NUS from the 31 March to 11 April 2003.
The course objectives are to equip students through lectures and practical hands-on sessions, all relevant aspects of deriving important parameters from live specimens using optical techniques. Topics included transmission and fluorescence microscopy, image processing, confocal microscopy, Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching (FRAP), Fluorescence Resonnance Energy Transfer (FRET) etc. | Information
