Carl Zeiss SEA participated in the 19th Congress of Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology which took place from the 29 November to the 3 December 2003 in Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
With a booth size of 36sqm in Plenary Hall 3, medical systems for the 4 main disease clusters group - Cataract, Glaucoma, Retina and Refractive from Carl Zeiss were on displayed. For Cataract, the exhibited systems were OPMI Visu 150/200, 1FR and the IOL Master. For Glaucoma, there were Stratus OCT, HFA 750i and the Matrix. For Retina group, Visulas 532s Combi and Visucam were on displayed. For Refractive group, the MEL 80, WASCA Analyzer and the CRS Master were exhibited.
The Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) has long been renowned for its contributions to society, with the strong determination to disseminate the knowledge of ophthalmology throughout Asia and the Pacific as well as to elevate the standard of eye health and treatment. The APAO's efforts not only serve the great demand of patients, but also promote better quality of vision among the public in general. Certainly, many of the valuable activities APAO has carried out are through the Congress of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology.
