Carl Zeiss SEA participated in the 2nd International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies from the 8 to 12 December 2003 in Suntec City International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
There were a total of 16 symposia covering frontier areas in materials science and technology and 9 plenary talks. Mr. Rainer Danz, Product Manager Lightmicroscopy - Materials from Goettingen was one of the invited speakers at Symposium L. He presented a paper on C-DIC techniques on 12 December 2003, Friday from 2pm to 2.30pm. The profile of the conference was indeed raised with the presence of two Nobel laureates (Physics: Klaus von Klitzing and Chemistry: Harry Kroto).
ICMAT 2003 has always been an exciting multidisciplinary forum providing a valuable platform for research scientists and engineers to learn first-hand of new directions in materials research and technology, as well as share and exchange of ideas with some of the best minds in the field. This forum saw a gathering of 1800 delegates from all over the world to meet and deliberate.
